Meetin.gs Terms of Service
Read the rules for using Meetin.gs, including accounts, scheduling content, acceptable use, service changes, and liability.
Effective and last updated: August 12, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Meetin.gs website, accounts, scheduling pages, polls, bookings, dashboards, reminders, email, uploads, embeds, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer or privacy law continue to apply and are not waived by these Terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. A person under the age of majority where they live must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not intended for account creation by children under 13.
Accounts use Google sign-in. You are responsible for the security of your Google account, signed-in browser session, and any private management link. Give accurate account and organizer information, do not impersonate another person or organization, and notify us through the contact page if you suspect unauthorized access. Meetin.gs never receives your Google password.
3. A free scheduling service
Meetin.gs currently provides the Service without subscription fees, paywalls, or credit-card requirements. No charge will be made without your express agreement to separate pricing and payment terms. We may add, remove, improve, or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice when a material change affects active users or saved information.
The Service helps people coordinate a meeting; it does not guarantee that a person will attend, that a calendar remains conflict-free outside Meetin.gs, or that a meeting produces a particular personal or business result.
4. Organizer responsibilities
If you create or share a scheduling page, poll, booking link, or widget, you are responsible for:
- Having a lawful and appropriate reason to contact each recipient.
- Offering dates and times you can honor and keeping availability, duration, time zone, location, and joining details accurate.
- Explaining the meeting purpose and asking only for information the meeting genuinely needs.
- Providing any notices, consent choices, accessibility support, cancellation terms, or industry-specific disclosures required for your use.
- Reviewing confirmations, changes, failures, and participant messages instead of relying on automation alone for a critical appointment.
- Protecting internal notes, participant information, private tokens, and management links.
You must not place passwords, payment-card data, health records, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information in titles, descriptions, questions, notes, URLs, or uploads.
5. Participant responsibilities
If you respond to a poll or book a time, provide accurate information, choose only times you can reasonably attend, and use confirmation, cancellation, and management links for their intended purpose. Do not submit another person's information without authority or use a scheduling page to harass, test, scrape, or disrupt its organizer.
A confirmed booking records the scheduling choice. It does not create an employment, medical, legal, financial, sales, or other professional relationship by itself, and it does not guarantee the organizer's identity or the quality of any later service.
6. Public share links and widgets
Personal scheduling pages and booking widgets are designed for public sharing. Anyone with the URL may view the organizer identity, meeting description, profile media, availability, and questions shown on the page. Search-engine noindex instructions do not make a URL private. You are responsible for deciding where to publish a link and what the page reveals.
Organizer dashboards, internal notes, response-management controls, and private action tokens must not be embedded, posted publicly, or shared with people who are not authorized to use them.
7. Your content and permission to operate the Service
You keep ownership of content you submit, including text, meeting details, questions, notes, responses, avatars, logos, and cover images (“User Content”). You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and use that content.
You give Meetin.gs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, convert, display, transmit, and otherwise process User Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This permission ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for protected backups, legal retention, and information already delivered to a meeting recipient.
We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates a security risk, or is unlawful. We do not claim ownership of your trademarks or grant other users rights to them.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk invitations, deceptive messages, or unlawful marketing.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate unlawfully, impersonate, defraud, or invade another person's privacy.
- Upload or distribute malware, unlawful sexual content, content that exploits minors, or material that infringes intellectual-property or other rights.
- Probe, scan, bypass, or interfere with security, authentication, rate controls, access restrictions, or service infrastructure.
- Use automated means to scrape, harvest, create accounts, submit bookings, or generate traffic except through an interface or permission we expressly provide.
- Reverse engineer the Service where prohibited, resell access without permission, hide the source of an embed, or misrepresent a relationship with Meetin.gs.
- Collect more personal or sensitive information than the meeting requires.
Reasonable, good-faith security research must follow the guidance on the Security page and must not access another person's data or disrupt the Service.
9. Email and meeting communications
The Service may send transactional emails such as welcome messages, invitations, confirmations, cancellations, and reminders. By creating a meeting or providing an email address for a meeting, you ask us to send the messages needed for that workflow. Organizers must not use transactional features as a substitute for an email-marketing platform.
To reduce unwanted email, Meetin.gs may deprecate, meaning pause, optional welcome messages, six-hour reminders, and poll digests after three consecutive tracked emails are not opened. Opening a recent tracked email can restore optional delivery. Booking confirmations and cancellations continue because they carry operational details for a meeting the user or participant requested. Open measurement can be affected by image blocking, automatic loading, or mail privacy features.
Email delivery can be delayed, rejected, routed to spam, or made unavailable by a recipient or provider. Organizers should verify critical meetings through an appropriate backup channel.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on or links to third parties, including Google for account sign-in, Resend when transactional email is configured, hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics on public informational pages, and meeting locations or conferencing links chosen by organizers. Third-party products have their own terms, privacy practices, limits, and availability.
Meetin.gs is not responsible for a third party's service, content, account decision, or outage. A reference to a provider or company does not by itself mean that provider sponsors or endorses Meetin.gs.
11. Meetin.gs intellectual property
The Service, software, site design, original copy, and Meetin.gs name and calendar mark are owned by or licensed to the Meetin.gs operator and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service as provided; they do not transfer Meetin.gs intellectual property to you.
You may link to public pages and use the official embed code for its intended purpose. Do not remove attribution, alter the Meetin.gs mark, imply endorsement, or copy substantial parts of the Service to create a competing interface.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through the contact page. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or disable a link when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, legal requirement, security risk, abuse, harm to another person, or material threat to the Service.
When practical, we will give notice and a chance to correct the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for fraud, unlawful content, active attacks, exposed private data, or urgent safety risks. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute provisions—remain in effect.
13. Service availability and changes
We work to keep Meetin.gs useful and reliable, but the Service may experience maintenance, delay, error, data loss, provider failure, or interruption. Keep your own copy of information that is essential to your work and review meeting details before relying on them. Features described as planned, early access, requirements, or not yet connected are not a promise of delivery.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure in every circumstance, suitable for a particular purpose, or accepted by every calendar, email, browser, or third-party provider. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meetin.gs and its operator, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunities, or data, arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
Because the Service is currently free, remedies may be limited. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The limits in this section apply only to the extent allowed where you live.
16. Disputes and applicable law
Before starting a formal claim, please send a clear description through the contact page so we can try to resolve it. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the Meetin.gs operator and your use of the Service, without overriding mandatory consumer protections or rights you have under the law of your country of residence. A court or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction may hear a dispute.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice before a material change applies when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the Service.
18. General terms and contact
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service unless a separate written agreement applies.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Meetin.gs contact page.
Terms questions
Is Meetin.gs free?
Yes. The Service currently has no subscription fee, paywall, or credit-card requirement. We will not charge you without your express agreement to separate pricing and payment terms.
Can I use Meetin.gs for unsolicited outreach?
No. Organizers must have a lawful and appropriate reason to contact recipients. Spam, deceptive invitations, and unlawful bulk marketing are prohibited.
Who owns my meeting content and images?
You keep ownership. You give Meetin.gs only the limited permission needed to store, process, display, transmit, and protect the content while operating the Service.
Does a booking guarantee that the meeting will happen?
No. A confirmation records the selected time, but attendance, outside-calendar conflicts, provider availability, and the outcome of the meeting remain outside that guarantee.
