COPY-PASTE BUILDER

Generate your website widget.

Paste a Meetin.gs personal link or booking-page link owned by your signed-in account. Ownership is checked on the server before preview or embed code is issued.

Which URL belongs here?

Use a link such as https://meetin.gs/meet/your-name or https://meetin.gs/book/ABC123. Do not enter the address of the website receiving the widget, such as https://transcript.you. You paste the generated code into that website afterward.

Accepted: an open booking page owned by this account. Another organizer’s username or meeting code will be rejected.

How to add the booking widget to your website

  1. Create and save a booking page.Choose booking-link mode, add real availability and meeting details, then secure it with your free Google account.
  2. Generate the embed code.Paste your Meetin.gs /meet/ or /book/ URL above, or choose one of your saved pages.
  3. Paste it into your website. For a site such as transcript.you, open its editor and use a Custom HTML, Embed, or Code block. Paste the generated iframe code there—not the transcript.you URL into this generator.

Platform-specific placement

WebsiteWhere to paste itWhat to verify
WordPressCustom HTML blockYour security or optimization plugin does not strip the iframe.
WebflowEmbed elementThe container remains full-width at tablet and mobile breakpoints.
SquarespaceCode block with HTML enabledThe theme does not impose a short fixed frame height.
Custom HTMLInside the main content where booking is the next actionThe CSP allows frame-src https://meetin.gs.

Accessible and dependable widget setup

Keep the fallback link

The generated code includes a normal “Book a meeting” link below the frame. Keep it visible for visitors whose browser, consent settings, assistive technology, or company policy blocks embedded content.

Explain the meeting before the widget

State who the meeting is for, what will happen, how long it takes, and how the visitor should prepare. The widget should complete a decision the page has already helped the visitor make.

Protect page speed

Place the widget where booking is the main action and keep loading="lazy". On pages with several calls to action, use a direct booking button instead of loading several frames.

Security boundary: only the /embed/ booking surface can appear on another website. Dashboards, organizer settings, tokens, and account pages remain protected from framing.

Website booking widget questions

Straight answers about cost, visitor access, installation, browser privacy, and troubleshooting.

Is the Meetin.gs booking widget free?

Yes. The booking widget, booking pages, organizer dashboard, and meeting management tools are free. No credit card or paid upgrade is required.

Do website visitors need a Meetin.gs account?

No. Visitors choose an available time and provide their name and email inside the widget. Only the organizer signs in to save and manage the meeting page.

Will the widget work on WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or a custom site?

Yes, when the site accepts iframe embed code. Paste the generated HTML into a custom HTML or embed block. A visible booking link is included as a fallback.

Why might an embedded widget be blocked?

A website content security policy may restrict frames. Add https://meetin.gs to the site frame-src directive, and keep the fallback booking link visible.

Does the widget depend on third-party cookies?

No. The embedded booking form uses a short-lived, meeting-specific security token, so a visitor can book even when third-party cookies are unavailable.
